Overview

John Crane’s Powerstream® elastomeric couplings are designed to transmit torque and accommodate misalignment through an elastomeric element.

Elastomeric couplings are available in various combinations to accommodate shaft separations that require close-coupled and spacer versions.

The elastomeric coupling insert is available in various grades for higher torque or higher temperature applications, and all inserts have an unlimited shelf life and are chemically resistant to most products.

Elastomeric couplings can reduce downtime with urethane elastomers that can be replaced in minutes. The ideal applications for an elastomeric coupling are ANSI pumps, conveyers, rolls, fans and blowers.
