Plan 55 (External Buffer/Lubricator)

Why do we use it?
- When an arrangement 2 plan is required
- When an electrical power supply is available at the pump location
- When a pumping scroll cannot provide sufficient flow to cool the seal
- To supply multiple seals with a single system
- When process leakage into the system does not pose an environmental or health risk
Advantages:
Can provide unpressurized flow to multiple seal installations to reduce costs. Positively eliminates fugitive emissions to atmosphere.
General:
Plan 55 systems can be custom engineered to suit application requirements. Systems can range from the direct connection from other process streams to complex API 614 systems.
