3 Minute Read

We had a successful week at the 2024 Asia Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium (ATPS)  in Kuala Lumpur. ATPS is a vital industry event, offering a forum for the exchange of ideas between rotating equipment engineers and technicians worldwide.

John Crane featured the following products and solutions:

  • Type 2874HTC: An innovative alternative to conventional, dual-contacting mechanical seals and seal support systems
  • Type 93LR: A low-consumption separation seal that is compatible with John Crane’s dry gas seals
  • John Crane Diamond®: Helps customers overcome rigorous sealing challenges, including limited seal face lubrication and severe service duties that adversely affect reliability, operational costs and seal life
  • TSKS Coupling:  Metallic membrane (disc) coupling, incorporating industry-leading scalloped, stainless steel, flexible membranes with metric flange hardware
  • Support Systems:
    • GCU Seal Gas Booster:  Delivers differential pressure and gas flow across the seal faces to ensure the gas seals remain in optimum condition for sustainable operation
    • Seal Gas Recovery System: Works with tandem seal installations to recover seal leakage and divert the gas stream for more productive purposes, and avoid the release of harmful GHG emissions
