Non-contacting Dual Gas Seal Cartridge for Pumps
John Crane’s Type 2874 is a range of API-qualified, non-contacting dual- pressurised seals for non-turbo, ANSI and DIN “C” large-bore rotating equipment. They are built to deliver reliable performance across a wide range of applications and to provide peace of mind in volatile, hazardous environments across a wide range of industries.
This mechanical seal utilises industry-leading internally pressurised spiral-groove technology to create a non-contacting solution. It can handle slurries and minimise solid build-up, whilst still maintaining a reverse pressure capability.
It is typically used in oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.
