Samar El-Sherif, Operations Team Leader, celebrated 15 years with John Crane in September 2022. She works at our site in Egypt and is responsible for customer service inquiries and collection support. Samar arranges the customer support process by issuing customer quotes, placing orders, following up on order processing and handling the logistics and shipment processing, including internal and external support.
“I enjoy working at John Crane because the work culture is diverse, ethical and passionate, and the commitment to employee safety is a top priority,” Samar said. “The company gives me many challenging jobs and learning opportunities that allow me to improve my skill set.”
Before joining John Crane, Samar worked as a sales administrator at an environmental and remote sensing services center.
“I enjoy having the excellent environment and support to develop my knowledge and experience that allow me to grow in my career,” Samar said. “Joining John Crane in 2007 was a new and successful start in shifting my career from an administrative assistant to a customer service specialist.”
Samar received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Helwan University.
In Samar’s free time, she enjoys reading books, growing plants and photography. Samar has two sons and a golden retriever.
