John Crane Style G57 combines two high-performance materials and transforms them into a packing offering excellent heat dissipation, chemical resistance and antiextrusion characteristics. The strategic placement of the carbon fibers enhances structural stability resulting in less in-service consolidation. Minimal to zero flush is also a key advantage to the selection of this material.

Construction and Features
A unique braided construction of high-purity, corrosion-inhibited flexible graphite and carbon yarns. The final braid is treated with a proprietary colloidal graphite dispersion providing a lubricated sealing surface and protective coating.

Applications
For use in rotary and reciprocating equipment up to 4,500 fpm, handling all types of fluids, chemicals, acids and caustics as well as condensate and boiler feed water.

1/4" cross section through 1" with incremental increases of 1/16".
