John Crane's Americas' management and employees take active roles in establishing and supporting Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policy and procedures, and in maintaining compliance with applicable EHS laws and regulations. It is John Crane Americas' policy to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of its employees and others affected by its business operations.

In particular, John Crane Americas will:

• Comply with all relevant EHS legal and policy requirements applicable to John Crane Americas


• Maintain effective EHS management systems


• Develop two-way communication with employees, customers,contractors, and suppliers regarding our EHS policy and procedures


• Provide appropriate EHS training and education to all employees


• Integrate EHS practices into operational procedures


• Periodically set and review defined and relevant EHS objectives and targets, with the goal of driving continual improvement of EHS performance


• Promote EHS awareness at all levels


• Strive for a workplace free from recognized hazards through active employee involvement and the prevention of injury and ill health


• Strive to lessen the impact of its operation on the environment by reducing pollution, energy use, water usage, and waste
