Filled PTFE Sheet Gasket

Chemlon 7000/7100/7200 Series

John Crane Chemlon 7200 sheet gasket is a biaxially oriented, filled PTFE sheet sealing material. Filled with barium sulfate, this material has exceptional compression and recovery characteristics. This material can be applied for pH ranges from 0 to 14 (including hydrofluoric acid), and temperatures from cryogenic to 260C/500F at pressures of up to 85 bar/1235 psi.

John Crane Chemlon 7100 sheet gasket is a biaxially oriented, filled PTFE sheet material. Filled with silica, this material has high tensile strength in both directions and exhibits superior creep resistance. This material can be applied for pH ranges from 0-14, temperatures from cryogenic to 260C/500F, and pressures of up to 85 bar/ 1230 psi.

Design Features

Chemlon 7200
John Crane Chemlon 7200 sheet gasket is a very compressible material because of the barium sulfate. This enables the gasket to seal tighter under lower torque loads. The unique properties of this material help to deliver excellent performance.

Chemlon 7100
John Crane Chemlon 7100 sheet gasketing can be used in sealing most chemicals including sulfuric and hydrofluoric acids. It is WRc approved for use in both hot and cold potable water services.
